Hey guys,

It's that time of the month again. Last month we had 400+ cars from all over the world. June will be even better with the great weather we have been having. There will be additional pavement in between the new buildings that will accomodate another 100 cars.
Please note that our event is from 8-11am. Parking is first come first serve. If you show up at 10:45, the lot is more than likely going to be full and you will be asked to park in general parking.
I have touched on this before but I feel I need to adress this once again.
Unless you are looking to get this event shut down, please keep the burnouts and hard launches for the track.
There will now be a Chanhassen Police Officer on site to make sure people get in and out of the property safely and slowly.


Time and Location:
The event is from 8am-11am
The location is the Minneapolis AutoMotorplex located at:
1740 Motorplex Ct. Chanhassen MN (About 10 minutes away from the old location)

For people traveling east of 494 we would encourage you to take the Crosstown (62) extension (HWY 5) the where it becomes 212, exit on Powers Blvd (Which is 1 exit past 101) go right, drive approx 500 ft and turn left on Lyman (at the light) travel approximately 1 mile, turn right on Audubon and we will be 1.1 mile on the left.

yea, you know i was caught red handed. the cop was super cool but it was just my bad luck i guess. Everyone leaving the lot was doing something illegal. was just a matter of time before someone got caught you know. In fact, Chris was in front of me doing the same, lucky me gets busted..

But yes, i'll be there in the vette. i won't be doing anything illegal at ALL!
My bro will be driving our new E63...

 

I've heard that 'Chris' only has 505hp and traction control on full time.

Not really comparable to 750hp and no TC eh AJ?

 

Hopefully said cop wont be issuing front plate tickets.... that would suck.

He will be there strictly for directing traffic up top. It's private property so he will not be able to write tickets there.

 

lol...front plate tickets... i gave up and finally mounted mine on. Cut a large opening in my front plate cover and put mesh screen over it. lil custom deal, but i guess its legal-ish now. actually looks decent too.

 

LOL... i can't help it, i only like to please the crowd... you know thats what EVERYONE wants to see. I have TC..my motor just over powers it! hehe

There is a lot of commentry now that people are "annoyed" that they won't be able to see the fun that occurs when people leave. i do agree with them, but i also see the concern of the spectators and drivers as well as the position that the Police and AutoMotorPlex folks hold. Can't please everyone i guess.

I can bring a case of wine. Or something stronger. It depends on the goals and expectations for the day.

I think I should be able to haul it in the M5. I am excited to see various toys at this event as I am looking to buy something along the lines of Ford GT or GT2. I notice there was one GT at the last event - I am hoping to meet the owner and see it in person.

There are three Ford GTs that are C&C regulars so you should be able to gather all the info you need. Two GT2s as well.
