Honestly, I think attendance would be better if it was once a month -- it wouldn't be so often that people would just decide to skip it. Use the first Saturday as the date and the 2nd Saturday as a weather day, set up a mailing list to directly email people about the status of the event and let them know what interesting cars might be coming, and you'll get great attendance!
The more often they get, the more likely people are just to skip out.

The forecast is showing next saturday as being a mess with rain. I guess at the least it will be warmer than this past weekend, but I feel like we're due to catch a break here sometime soon. Maybe we'll luck out and it will change by then.

I wish I could hit Redline and woodward with you crazy boys! I miss the car scene in Michigan for sure!
