We had a great turnout to our first Cars & Coffee last Saturday! There were about 65 cars; Corvettes, a Viper, Maserati, Cobra, Gallardo, a group of Honda Ruckus bikes, a bunch of Ferraris, few Porsches, and a whole mix of other cool cars. We also had Jake and Elwood show up in the Blues Mobile. Plans are to do this every fourth Saturday, weather permitting. Will be at the KCP&L South Service Center, 119th street between 69 highway and Metcalf until our paving is done at the AutoMotorPlex site (207th and Metcalf). Thanks for everyone who attended!!!

 

We are going to have great late November weather on Saturday the 23rd. Bring your car to 199th east of 69 highway, 9am to noon. AutoMotorPlex Cars & Coffee (bring me a better name). Plan to have something special going on. Updates as we get closer.

 

Thanks for the heads-up. This time, I'm putting on my calendar. I'll have the old Benz there unless it SNOWS.

BTW...is any of this Autoplex place constructed yet? Or are they fishing for buyers/investors? Looking at the plans but it appears the pics show an existing older building?

 

We are on for the next AutoMotorPlex Cars & Coffee Saturday, January 25th at 9am. Location this month will be 20595 Metcalf. We are being co-hosted by Vince Hill of Black Horse MotorWerks. Come by to see the AutoMotorPlex sales office and Vince's high performance repair facility. The location at 206th and Metcalf in Stilwell is just a block east of the AutoMotorPlex campus (under construction). Everyone welcome!!

More than likely I will not make this event, but I will keep trying.

 

Son of a... thanks for the update. Been jones'n for a car get together. Headed to Daytona for the 24 next week so will not be able to attend. Stopped in and talked to Blake at KC Motors the other day, he filled us in on everything and pointed out the location. Definitely next time!!

 

I am hoping to make it out the Sat. and see the new facility! If I don't make it this time, I will definitely be there next month!
