New P-car owner
Picked up a 2007 997 C2 to get my feet wet on the ownership of a Porsche. Traded in my 370Z a day before my birthday. Best gift to myself, ever.
Trying not to get crazy on the mods but what I do will be sparse and tasteful/functional. So far I've installed a Fabspeed y-pipe intake. Love it. Considering the Gundo hack. I like that it partially uses the mufflers. Agency Power ssk and linkage installed. Excellent shift kit for sure. And will likely install a Bluetooth adaptor. Gotta have my tunes!
If I decide to keep the car beyond the 18 months I intend to have it before selling it for a '13 C4S, then I'll be prepping it for track use and installing a set of coilovers and continuing with other track-related mods. But chances are slim I'll pass up a C4S in the next 17 months. I'm surprised I passed up AWD on this purchase but the car was well priced and got a great warranty with it.
Looking forward to participating in the forum and learning much!
Here she is! The night I said goodbye to the Z. It was a very short goodbye.
After the test drive. Three days before deciding to purchase.

Interesting to go with the Gundo, Personally I'd get a new exhaust to make it have that sound but the hack is a nice low-cost alternative.
Are you getting coil overs for this car or the C4S? I can't tell what you meant.
