Ok, so if it was repaved how does that make the Nissan times fraudulent and Nissan at fault for trying to deceive the general public?

Nissan had nothing to do with repaving the n'ring. If the other cars need to re-do their old times, then they should re-do them.

Let it go man. You are just grasping now. If it's not the rolling start, it's the tires. If it's not the tires, it's the 'ring being repaved. What's next? The celestial alignment of Mars and Venus causing a gravitational pull on the GTR?

Who cares. I stopped caring a while back. I just find your attempt to fill in the gaps in your arguments with immature and rather pathetic attempts at insults rather amusing. You've called me a kid and a tool thus far. What's next? Guy? Well I'm not your guy, froind.

im just going to add that IMHO theres a disparity between the reality in this car and much of the attributes associated with it in the media.
perhaps we would all be better served just waiting until one can actually get out in one, until they are free on our roads for all to see and use before jumping up and down either for or against.

To many fanboi's on here if you ask me LOL.
Yes the car was modified, but to Euro/US spec which mean we're not getting a watered down import for once. And I highly doubt Nissan would risk they're reputation by cutting corners on their halo car. You just gotta give it up, Nissan is on top right now.

Your just to think headed to believe anything. Do a search on the net. There are more issues cropping up everyday to debunk Nissan's claim. When a PRIVATE driver gets ahold of one then we will see. No doubt the car is a performer, just stop being a fanboy....Either way, the car is horrid looking, it needs it's speed so people can't see it I suppose.

Look, I have a 997 GT3 and I love the car. I won't exchange it for a GT-R in a million years. But, let's face it, GT-R is faster than GT3, GT2 and quite possibly Carrera GT (and Enzo and Scuderia and etc.) around the track. Nissan has delivered a fantastically fast car which is as good as a daily driver. No reason to keep coming up with excuses of all sorts why it lapped faster; it did because it is a faster car. Almost all reviews that I have seen concur. Just get over it.

Kevin.

ksxxsk,

i just lost any respect for you with that post. mocking someones input due to their inability for whatever reason to express it in proper structure or form is a poor show and only makes you look bad, not them.
it was perfectly clear what the poster was saying.
i'm a firm believer in correct spelling, grammar and punctuation and it gets my goat when its not used but thats a low blow indeed to attempt to invalidate someones ideas or opinions based on that premise.

its the last refuge of someone with no intellectual foundation left to debate the topic much as sarcasm is the lowest form of wit and shows a lack of manners and civility

Child with way to much time on his hands. I use a iPhone to post alot and it's the damn internet, do you really think I try to make sure my English is perfect, no. Unlike you I don't have the time to go over someones post with a fine tooth comb. Try spending some some filling out your empty profile with lies like most of the kids on here.

I hear ya man, I could care less about that kid. Like I said, I use an iPhone to post alot and it is the damn internet. Grammar is not something I really worry about. I have a degree from a good college. I could care less what this kid with no life, or profile for the matter says. He just has to resort to this because he is a fanboy, with nothing else about the car to say. I guess Mommy lets him use her computer....

Well you can see my age in my avatar, and I don't drive my moms camry and I would whole heartedly support Vladcanada in saying the GTR sure looks a helluv a lot better then that ugly camaro in your avatar.

Let me rephrase for you....

It's better then the car in your profile Mommy and Daddy bought for you? Is that better?

I'm talking about a car that nobody here owns, yet some of you decide to bring one of my cars into this? My "ugly" Camaro will outrun most of the cars on this board with no issues. Not to mention I daily drive an Infiniti and have a Harley. All paid for by my hard work, I love all my toys. And remember, the GTR that I think is so ugly, is not owned by any of you....grow up.
