GTR - first sighting - WOW...but..

yeah, you should see what they are offering on my 997S! it's tough since most nissan dealerships don't want to keep higher-end trades on their lots, so you lose the "retail value" aspect of your trade when negotiating. the dealerships i've talked to low-ball me on my porsche and still want 10k over MSRP. yikes.

It's not the best time to get out of cars.
But a great time to get into one.
A friend was offered an ISF at 12k under MSRP. He was very tempted till they told him they were only willing to give him $34k for his 08 M3.

Do you end up driving both the GT-R and 911?

Or buy the GT-R, don't use the launch control and be happy with 4 second 0-60's and low 12's high 11's in the 1/4 mile

You can buy a used 997TT for thousands less than a new GTR? That would be minimum of around $78,000 (assuming new MSRP of $81000). Or if we use old MSRP of $73000 then we are talking about $70,000 for a used 997TT. Where do you find a used 997TT for that price?

103 minus 85 equals.........18 grand or as I mentioned (if you happened to read my post) is "THOUSANDS LESS"
thanks for playing!

Did you happen to read the first post in this thread? ssaa77 said dealer is asking 103k for a new GT-R......which is about on par with the current dealer markup from what I've seen and read. Below is a link to a couple 997 turbos going for 85k

Some people would rather not sweep transmission parts off the road
J/K The GT-R is sick and once Nissan works out the tranny/launch control debacle for 2010, everything will be all good in the hood!
