Budez GTR and Axis Wheels Big Bird at Buttonwillow
Hey all, thought I would share some of the videos popping up of our track day at Buttonwillow. 12 R35 GTR's got together for some fun.
This is a chase vid from Axis GTR following my Budez GTR around a few 2 minute laps. All on 20" street tires.

Someone mentioned some members from this forum were going to come out so thought I would post this.
Happy New Year!

Thanks for the welcome lawl
Half the GTRs there were modded in one form or another including updated coilovers, brake ducting, intercoolers, BOVs, piping, ECU tuning, and of course mine has custom aero modifications including the computer controlled split wing (If you look close in the slow corners you will see it adjusting).
I'm not sure what big bird was running but I was testing a custom Cobb 100 octane map with my setup which worked amazingly well.

I love this car!
There is still plenty of massaging that can be done but the car performed really well that day. Its more fun to drive than my Gallardo and a lot faster now thanks to the custom ecu map from Cobb.
I'll have to figure out rubber for the car for next track day. My street tires are great on the street but it could used a good R compound for track day.

Several of the cars were modded and a few near stock. A lot of the guys were testing their setups and looking out for possible improvements/adjustments.
I believe the fastest time was a 1:57.7 in a GT-R with no power mods aside from a cat back zorst. The car was running a modded brake setup and using standard factory Dunlop SP Sport 600s.

I would venture to think it would be more fun than the Lambo.

No Falken nor BFG have the right size. Waiting on TOYO but even they require a different sized rim other than stock size. If I'm going to get yet ANOTHER set of wheels I might as well drop down to 19's where I have a slightly better choice of tires.

Here is another video using a goprocam stuck to the side of my car. Experimenting with Traqmate (which seems really slick btw).
