yes, matt apparently never waits for anything.

i'm getting mine done tomorrow.

so. the car performs 11.5sec 1/4 mile, no need to turn vdc 'off', no warranty implications, easier than a 5000rpm clutch dump, and blessed by nissan... should we speculate about something else now?

yes, i take it hpde's (looking for time trials next year), auto-x, and drag race it (for research specifically - when installing new mods or tuning).

i do not disengage the vdc... i do not leave it in normal, either. it is a little intrusive. when on the track, i put it in 'r' mode, and it becomes non-intrusive (it hasn't cut in on me yet, and when i get better tires (read: non-runflats), i imagine traction will be even less of an issue. going to vir this weekend (and going to let the wife run it around the track - i'll get the video for that), so we'll see what a completely non-experienced driver can do with this car.

i've already booked my year...

vir full course (w/thscc)
bluegrass in aug (w/asphalt ventures)
cmp in oct (w/thscc)

and a full year of his/her's auto-x (w/thscc)

i'll probably do summit point next year (when i can afford more tires)...

have you been there before? opinions?
