I'm looking for a new "fun car" and am currently in the debate of the year in my head of a 996tt or a R34 GTR. My only problem with the R34 is that I'm not familiar with japanese cars all too much (really at all) and since the R34 never came to the US, how hard is it to source information for it and parts? I most likely wouldn't leave it stock and want to do most if not all of the work myself since I know of NO reputable places near me that I'd want touching it. If anyone can point me in the right direction for maybe a forum or something dedicated to the R34 that would be awesome. Google didn't turn up much but I can't say I really went digging for more than an hour or two. Thanks for any info!
