Where does the extra 5 hp come from on the 2010?

Where does the extra 5 hp come from on the 2010?

Just wondering if anyone knows what has changed to increase the Hp.

I dont know the actual data but I assume it is from some changes in timing on the intake and exhaust side. It is very easy to get horsepower from just a change that way

The computer in the car can do lots of things...you only have to program it to do whatever you want....this car is like a robot it can be programed to be a 9 second car but the fuel economy will drop around 10 mpg.

That GTR is out of the box one fast car, but then again are you really worried about gas?

Man I wish i had one too...

when it comes to gas I think my car is doing fine on Fuel economy for the performance I get from it...my average is 11.9 MPG

Average mpg for life of the car - 14mpg.

Average driving on streets - 22mpg.

Average for a day at the track - 8mpg.

Lowest I've seen on my car - 3mpg.

I believe the additional 5HP is just a reprogramming of the timing. This car loves timing. It is really conservative from the factory (like most cars).

If you want more power, you can RENT a Nismo chip for additional boost for a few years...

Yeah, I said rent. I know it's gay.

I am seeing 11 mpg average. I just cannot stay off the gas.

Not yet:

Improved low end torque and response from modified ECU maps
Increased maximum boost pressure (0.1 bar) and increased low end boost
Improved, quicker, downshifts
Street speed limiter raised to 320km/h

The price for the initial 24 month period is 294,000 yen for both the base and SpecV versions with an additional fee of 31,500 per year if you continue on past the 24 months

Only for GT-R and GT-R SpecV JDM.

To rent an ecu that is some serious cash.
