This is probably as close as well all get to a 997 Porsche GT2 RS (at least most of us, anyway).

Somehow Nissan USA is trying to plan to sell this in the USA w/o the (NCCB) brakes ? for $150,000 ?

The brakes are a $40,000 option and are not sold over the counter but I bet its something similar to the Porsche using a different hat for the bolt pattern & offset.

$150k without the brakes? This better be the new 520HP edition WITH overboost (giving bursts of about 600hp). Even then, I think it's too much...

BUT - considering that it already comes standard with EVERY option available, there is no nickel/diming for things like Bluetooth, iPod integrated controls throught the touch screen (not just playlists),Sat/Nav, streaming bluetooth audio, DVD playback, etc... It may still be a better option for some than an R8 V10, etc... This puts the price around a closely optioned Turbo w/PDK. It's not bad. I guess... We'll see what the final numbers are IF it happens.

yup, and if thats not a steep cliff to dive off of only 200 cars for 11 and might be 1/2 that + dont expect a repalcement for the usa for a while. so those who might want to sell might consider holding for a bit.

That boost option is black listed for the USA market no way that will happen, worse off is the Seats in the spec v I mean they are $25,0000 just for the seat and there are discrepancy as how much weight has been shed with those seats and that wont happen for the usa market unless recaro comes up with some ideas for airbags in those seats.

here is a curve ball , you know there is a non turbo proto a while back Nissan built with a VQ3.8 and a 5speed in a 2wd set up ?

non turbo motors of the VR38DETT are only found in the Z33 NISMO 380RS street production car and I believe in NA trm they said 380hp

^ Good info. I didn't know any of that.

5spd 2wd? Sounds like a Skyline 370GT (yes, I know you said 3.8... just sayin')

I've seen pics of the clubsport GT-R that may get released in the US, but I don't think it comes with all of the SpecV parts (hoses, radiator cap, bigger turbos, etc...).

Yet, another idea I presented to them and yet again no repayment on it

um they will have a very hard time if the jap guy in japan running the GTR department keeps up with his same bull5hit.

I remember when I first heard about this months ago, and my thoughts were exactly like everyone else that posted in here. It's not worth the money for what you get and the rims are not appealing on the eyes at all.

^ Ever not buy a car because of the rims?

Me neither. Never occurred to me as THE deal breaker (especially being the easiest and most popular mod ever).
