The AMS Nissan R35 GT-R Front Mount Intercooler is one of the best performing
intercooler upgrades you can buy and has the 9 second time slips to back it up. This is the same durable, race proven front mount intercooler used in our world record setting SR850 package. This direct bolt-on intercooler has over 30% more internal flow area than its stock counterpart, works with stock piping and does not require any cutting or trimming! This intercooler bolts on so nice and clean you would swear it was an OEM Nissan piece!!

The AMS Intercooler features cast aluminum end tanks for added durability with extremely smooth features and geometry. Designed by our engineering team using Solidworks (3D CAD software) these A356 T6 Alloy Aluminum end tanks have improved flow over sheet metal end tanks and include integrated OEM location mounting brackets for ease of installation. Custom molded silicone couplers are included to optimize airflow volume and velocity which feed the 3” inlet and outlet ports.

AMS goes beyond our competition to ensure quality; each AMS Intercooler is hand TIG welded in a jig for a perfect fit and pressure tested to 50 psi to ensure maximum performance.

We tested many intercooler cores to find the best performing unit available. Over the past 9 years AMS has tested just about every core available to source the best manufacturer for our kits. The R35 GT-R intercooler is no exception as this core is manufactured by the same company used for our 1400HP drag cars and time attack race team.

The AMS GT-R Turbo Upgrade provides stock spool up, neck snapping torque and horsepower that will transform the already mighty GT-R into a true supercar! Designed as a direct bolt on for your existing factory turbochargers, you can expect gains starting at 170whp/150wtq and up with the proper supporting mods and tuning! At full boost with race gas these turbos are capable of up to 850 horsepower!

These turbos were designed to mimic spool and the aesthetics of the factory units. To the untrained eye these two turbos looks just as quiet and unsuspecting as the stock turbos but once you hit the throttle the difference becomes very evident.

On our chassis dyno with just an AMS Turbo-Back Exhaust, boost controller, upgraded injectors and a tune we were able to take our stock GT-R safely from 434 all wheel horsepower all the way up to 610! Torque was also bumped from the stock level of 406 to a massive 581 ft lbs measured at the wheels!!! Most impressive of all, this was done on JUST 22psi and 93 OCTANE PUMP GAS!
