whats the point of even getting catless downpipes and catless exhaust then?
the fastest i ran with all that was 10.84 at 130
but had stinky exhaust and very loud exhaust (sometimes it was nice to be very loud though) and was emissions-illegal

But even now, I'm having traction issues on the stock tires. Every time I'd bring the LC up to over 3k rpm, I'd spin out of the hole. So, I'm pretty confident with DRs on I would have pulled a 10.5X as she sits right now.

I skipped the downpipes for two reasons: installation/removal difficulty and interior noise. If I had DPs and intake, I'd probably have another 40 whp, easy.

Thanks, man! I'm really loving the car. It's a beast with very basic mods.

How did you race it? What mode? What settings?
Some people on NAGTROC say the best way to race this car (at least when you have big power) is Manual mode, normal trans setting, normal suspension setting, and VDC OFF. This way, the car shifts for you right before redline and you don't have to worry about hitting the rev limiter or shifting too early by accident.
Switzer, AMS, etc. can you deny or confirm if this is indeed the best way to drag the GTR when it is heavily modded? Thanks.
