Most Comprehensive 2012 GT-R Video / Review So Far IMO
Saw this pretty comprehensive video of the 2012 GT-R on another forum, thought I would show you guys here too. It looks like the 2012 takes a dump on the earlier model GT-R’s. Lots of little changes here and there really make a difference. Might consider buying one of these now

Honestly
*Sounds like Kazutoshi Mizuno has been getting ideas from AMS and Cobb, since I have read all of this before!
*We somehow knew that Nissan de-tuned the 2009-2011 models in order for them to re-tune them later for more power and money, that was predictable.
*The launch control does not void the warranty in 2009-2011 models, PLEASE!
*Cobb stages 1 and 2 actually give more hp and more user flexibilty.
*Lets be honest, the drag coefficient actually decreases from 0.272 to 0.268. This is only a 1.5% difference, however 3.7% (.26/.27) sounds so much better!
*I love the washed out video of the 2011 interior. LOL. Keep the same camera angles and lighting stupid for a valid comparison.
*Those new brakes now probably cost $12,000 to replace instead of only $8,000.
*Don’t get me wrong, I am glad that they made it GT-R better, I just wish they had given a more honest picture of the facts.
*I remember viewing a Japanese test driver's response when he was pressed give a statement comparing the 2010 to the 2012 GT-R. He had trouble praising the 2012, and finally said that the 2012 was only a "minor upgrade, because the 2010 is already so very, very good on the track".
*Great commercial to sell 2012 GT-Rs and make you feel wanting… or not.
*Can’t wait until I can buy aftermarket products with the cost difference!

The best part about this will be the flood of 2010 and 2011 cars on the market as guys upgrade for that extra .5secs reduction of 0-60 time.

What is the 0-60 time without LC on the 2012?

Hardly any of them would be worth the cost. Maybe the front bumper and LED's if you like that look, or the carbon strut brace up front if it's not a fortune. Otherwise you can already get better upgrades via the aftermarket.

Mainly the brake and suspension updates. I was hoping the new rotors and suspension geometry can be bolted on to the older chassis?
