Who has a good exhaust for GT-R
I just got a very lightly used 2011 GT-R. I am loving it but it is too quiet. I am wondering who makes an exhaust for this car that you can recommend. While i want to some more noise coming out my back end, I want to avoid the low rpm droning that I get in my Porsche with the Switzer exhaust. I don't want it to be REAL LOUD, I just want to be able to hear it and then hear it some more when I get on it.

Resonated Y-pipe and exhaust should work.
I'd list them, but there are at LEAST 50 different possible combinations you could have, based on the criteria you stated.
(I'm not exaggerating)

Sound clips do little justice for your setup. I've heard one live, it sounds awesome.
I recommend either Titek, Amuse, Cobb resonated, HKS (85mm), GTM (I have the GTM dual resonated 90mm), etc...
With either the Greddy 94mm rear, Amuse 90mm (not the 80mm), T1R 90mm, or HKS 85mm, etc...
Obviously, if you get the 90mm Y, you may net better results with a 90mm rear section.
The factory measurements go:
dual exhaust manifolds 76mm
dual cats 76mm
into a 76mm Y (with secondary cats)
into a 76mm main pipe
The real gains come from removing the second set of cats (Y-pipe). This is the most important piece that can create or eliminate resonating drone (because it is right underneath the driver).

What exactly are you looking for? You can get the loud and exotic sound that will drone (Meisterschaft or Password JDM) or you can get the tamer sound that will be descent at cruising speeds (HKS Legamax, Akrapovic etc.).
Password:JDM has to be the best bang for the buck but it is very loud. Let me know if you are looking for pricing, sound clips or any advice. We have done numerous GTR exhausts here at the shop.

Great feedback, I appreciate it!
I'm not interested in a bargain brand but I also don't want to pay more than I have to. I nkow that any of them will give me better throttle response and better sound. My main concern then is the drone. ON my 996TT the drone is really bothersome. Hard to have a conversation in the car. So that si what I want to avoid in the GTR.
