Also good points.

IMO, the back seats are not safe for kids. A proper booster with head protection won't fit right, and the seat base is too long.

Shame, cause I really do like the car. I wouldn't replace my 360 for it, and I don't need another weekend car. So I was hoping to replace my CC with it.

I'm likely going 997 turbo PDK. Though not a ton of room in the back, my booster seats fit nicely.

I have sort of come to the conclusion that as far as ownership experience, it just doesn't seem as well thought out as Porsche, BMW or other high end manufacturers. I have heard others say that if they had decided to market it throught Infinity dlrs instead of Nissan.... Its a heck of a car for the $ though.

Have been using the GTR as a DD for 4 months now. Great car with incredible acceleration and handling.

Suspension is firm, but not punishing.

Even with the "all season" tires, the GTR was not a good snow car. Definitely need dedicated snows.

Gets a lot of attention on the road and at gas stops.

997 PDK or 2012 GTR close call can't go wrong with either I reckon.

One problem with the GTR rear seats that I have found is they are very deep for small children. (my 6 year old) The depth causes their feet to have to set straight out. No problem at all for my 11 year old as she is comfy! The trunk is huge and the ride is what I look for in a sports car. Coming from several Audis the interior is just ok, but you are driving a car that runs with a turbo and at almost half the price. Overall I have to say I have been suprised by the overall quality of my Nissan. I bought it for bang for the buck, and did not care for some of the styling which has grown on me over the past couple of months. You really cant go wrong with either car, good luck!
