As I walk through the shop, I am always finding interesting things the technicians are working on. Today, I noticed one of our FP1 Shortblocks being prepped for assembly. You may or may not know this, but FP custom designs their pistons specifically for each platform and we've been working with Arias since 2003 when the 350Z first graced our shores. The pistons we produce for the GT-R are the strongest and most durable pistons you will find. This design has been tested on literally hundreds of previous VQ engines over the years and has become an industry standard. 2618 zero silicon aluminum, tool steel wrist pins, very thick ring lands and moly coated skirts round out this 1000whp+ capable piston design.
