...from what y'all are saying, that may not be the case huh? or is it kinda the standard 'cool car' attention? cause even my 60 t-bird and 69 chevelle attracted a surprising amount of attention, but all was pretty positive and not super annoying as compared to the exotics.
I was doing some Christmas shopping at a few stores this past weekend, and when I went out to my car at the last store, I was approached by 5 people. One guy (and his girlfriend) came out of the backseat of his car (30-something), saying he thinks the car is bad ***, went on to ask questions about the car. She seemed more interested in the car than he did.

While two other kids (teens) came up and also asked a few questions about the car, commenting that they want one when they grow up.

While an older fellow (I'd estimate 50-something) drove up in a Dodge Ram, asking if it was the new Z, because he hasn't seen one before, and he thought is was really nice.

It doesn't happen everyday. But it does happen often. If you're trying to fly low, it may not be the car for you.

I think I fit into the EXTREME daily driver category. I've had my GT-R for a few weeks now and I love it. I had an M6 for 2 weeks and wasn't impressed at all so I traded it in on the GT-R. I commute roughly 600 miles per week so this GT-R is going to be put to the test. The gas mileage is around 6 mpg better than the M6 and I'm sure the maintenance will be relatively comparable. I don't think the ride is as rough as people make it out to be, however the Florida highways aren't too bad here. As for road noise... I had a 1350 watt custom JL Audio system installed so problem solved. As to the LL effect... I can't believe the amount of attention I get in this car. It attracts more than my Aston Martin Vantage. Just goes to show that the badge your car wears doesn't necessarily mean a thing. Although I like my Aston better, the GT-R out performs it in almost every way. Although the GT-R isn't a great daily driver, I'm all in with the idea of enjoying my weekly commute!

I daily drove my GT-R for 36k miles... It's actually pretty practical in the world of supercars. Switching from the bridgestone to the dunlop tires helped alot in the rain.
