AAM Custom Tune '09 GT-R
My '09 GT-R had an AAM resonated mid-pipe, HKS drop-in filters and Cobb canned Stage 2 93 octane tune. The baseline dyno with the Cobb 93 octane stage 2 tune was 461.42 awhp and 441.58 awtq SAE corrected (uncorrected 476.72 hp / 456.21 tq).
After the custom tune the car put down 491.17 awhp and 513.30 awtq SAE corrected (uncorrected 505.02 hp / 527.78 tq).
The dynos are attached:

Would have been nice to get before/after 60-130 times to see the difference.

I try to test out my car after doing mods. Here are the methods I use to test (in descending order of accuracy):
60-130mph on vbox
1/4 mile trap speed
Dynojet (usually on the same dyno)
Seat of the pants... (calibrated by NASA)

Yup! Mike spent about 4 hours tweaking with the tune. I think he did a pretty good job.

Last fall, my GT-R with just AAM mid-pipe, HKS drop-in filter and canned Cobb stage 2 93 octane tune ran the following times with a 1 foot roll-out (WITHOUT LAUNCH control or building the revs at all...just mash the throttle from idle).
0-60: 3.30s
0-100: 7.11s
0-120: 9.91s
0-130: 11.75s
60-130: 8.45s
1/4m: 11.30 @ 127.68mph (GPS trap) averaging last 66' of run: 126.71mph
With no roll-out (same run so no Launch control):
0-100km/h: 3.73s
0-160km/h: 7.33s
0-200km/h: 10.97s
100-200km/h: 7.24s
Last night I went out on the same private road that I used to datalog the other run. The temps were pretty similar to the prior run...but there was definitely more humidity in the air and I am running now on Dunlop high performance all season tires (come OEM on GT-Rs as a cold weather package) compared to the OEM summer Bridgestones that were previously on the car.
Here is the one run I data logged (same procedure...no launch control...mash throttle off idle and go):
0-60: 3.14s
0-100: 6.80s
0-120: 9.52s
0-130: 11.23s
60-130: 8.09s
1/4m: 11.10 @ 129.23mph (GPS trap) averaging last 66' of run: 128.32mph
With no roll-out (same run so no Launch control):
0-100km/h: 3.57s
0-160km/h: 7.03s
0-200km/h: 10.49s
100-200km/h: 6.92s
Another test note: The tires probably needed to be heated up some more because my traction control light was flickering throughout the first 3 gears (even in R mode)...which only seems to happen if there is some precipitation on a road surface (which there was none last night). I think I can improve on these numbers by another .1s using my standard launch proceedure. I am going to try to improve on the time before submitting it.

Tom,
Great improvements!
Are you interested in coming out to some friendly meets at ISP in Beltsville, MD; we usually get together every two weeks (Sat) and have some fun after midnight?

I am heading to a track rental tomorrow at MIR to see how it runs.
ISP sounds like fun. I will have to check it out.
