1000+ WHP on 93 Octane! Tim Sanders ALPHA 12+ GT-RTim's GT-R is nothing short of a mo

Tim's GT-R is nothing short of a monster. In preparation for its final delivery AMS tuner Chris Black has been finishing up Tim's tunes. Earlier this week he put down 1265whp on C16 spinning the tires on the dyno despite having 5 people sitting in it. Today Chris decided to finish Tim's 93 octane map.

The 93 octane numbers were simply incredible!

1012 whp 800ft lbs of Tq on just good ol 93 Octane (US) Making this (if I am not mistaken) the first 1000whp GT-R on pump gas.

Tim's GT-R is a little different than most ALPHA 12's. IN addition to full blown ALPHA 12 he added the following:

ALPHA Ported Throttle Bodies
ALPHA Prototype Intake manifold
ALPHA Prototype Race intercooler kit

Eric,

You should post the SAE graph. I thought only Honda shops use inflated STD numbers anymore.....

Classy!

SAE isn't all that accurate for Turbo cars but even in SAE it put down 1000.32

Relax Eric. You know full well nobody posts STD correction unless they are trying to maximize a little graph spike.

As I said earlier, it'll be nice to see an AMS car run on the street for a change. Hope that happens down in TX.

AMAZING AMS!!

Who would have thought you could get 1012whp on 93 octane without meth on a 6 banger... crazy times!!

I very happy for Tim , its been a long time coming and can't wait for PBIR results!

AMS FTW!!!

Wow...that's just straight up amazing. Is it still stock displacement? That output is just sensational if it is, but still amazing even if it's a bit bigger than stock. Well done!

Read it, if you want a good explanation that is. Some people actually get a higher or lower number from sae(edit, said std, depending on the time of the year, weather, etc.)

It's a tuning tool anyway, as long as you baseline in the same correction as you re-dyno post tuning, you can see the gains...

Not a fanboy for ams, just saying. But btw, switzer and ams got their starts tuning little inline 4's(4g63 cast iron Mitsubishi blocks), those inline 4's just like some of the most bulletproof crazy motors that you inadvertently mentioned: Honduh
