A very good customer of ours brought us a bone stock GT-R a couple months ago to transform into a street monster! We sat down, went over his goals and compiled a list of modifications that would satisfy his needs. We are pretty excited about how the build is coming together so far.

It will feature our DE400 Drag Race 4.0ltr engine with a custom iron sleeve designed in house. Custom pistons with TSM specified compression ratios were also designed and built for this engine to optimize spool and power! The heads are the first line of a prototype program we have started. Extensive port and polish work has been done along with oversized valves, titanium springs and the first set of prototype GSC GT-R cams. We have worked with GSC for years and have always known their cams to make amazing power while keeping a great torque curve, these cams should be no different! While they aren't available to the public yet they are available through us for the next 8 months, so the initial testing is exciting for us.

The tranny is a Shepard built Dodson Pro Max with all the goodies. We trust our transmission work to Shep as he is simply the best in the business. I have several in house techs that are fully capable of building the GT-R tranny, but with his extensive knowledge of every facet of the GT-R tranny we feel his trannys are the best we can give our customer. It seems like daily I tell people that there is a reason every major shop in the US uses John to build their transmission!

As for the turbo kit we teamed up with the guys from Boost Logic in order to hang a pair of Garrett 3786s off this baby! We will be using the HTA billet wheel in these with Tial housings on the backside. The guys at Boost Logic have been very good to us over the years and build very quality parts, Doug can't wait to push this kit to its limits on our DE400 block!
I will be posting more pictures and results of course as the car goes back together in the coming weeks, but we are very excited about this build so I wanted to show you guys what we have so far. As always with TSM feel free to ask any questions you may have, we are an open book and happy to share anything with the community.

So far here are the DE400 Sleeved engine pictures as well as some head shots. It's hard to tell the extensive work that has been done to the heads, but i'm going to try to get you guys some before and after pictures on the next set!

Enjoy, and keep an eye on this thread for updates!
