Shaving tires on the East Bay?

A few months ago I purchased a pair of new Yokohama tires for the rear of my beloved shark. However, I was never able to get the rear to ride smoothly, and recently found that one of these tires is slightly out of round (approx. 1mm).

I'm not convinced that road force balancing will properly fix this, so I'm wondering, if there might be a shop in the East Bay (or elsewhere not too far from Fremont) where I could have the tire shaved a bit to be perfectly round.

Also, if you think that's not feasible, let me know.

Thanks!

you need to call in advance to any shop with regard to shaving. a lot of them will not shave any tires that has been driven on.
