I gotta say, I'm not too impressed thus far. I've had 3 appointments and he's broken every one.
I know you guys say he does great work, but I'm not too impressed with his ability to honor his commitments.

Luis is not in the habit of breaking appointments.
If he called (and how many will actually do that) it's because he's on a job that is taking longer than he anticipated and he will not leave for another job until his work is perfect.
Give him a chance. You'll see why.

I'll think about it...

I haven't used Luis (yet), and I'm sure I'd be frustrated if he broke appointments with me, but the other side of the coin is that you now know he's a perfectionist. If the work isn't to his satisfaction, he won't rush it to make the next dollar. I think that's a very good thing.

First was a visit to my office - he called to postpone about 15 min before he was scheduled to show (not a big deal).
His sister made it to my office the next day as scheduled.
The second time was a visit to my home to look at some new parts that were off the car. I left my office early to meet him at my home - he called 15 min before he was scheduled to arrive
The third time was yesterday where he called 2.5 hours before he was scheduled to arrive (again at my home).
He now wants to reschedule for Monday - when I'm not available
You guys speak so highly of him - I wanted to give him a chance. I also know that perfection is desireable, but commitment to schedules is equally important.
I also want to get these parts painted and on my car (GT2 front bumper, Euro rear bumper and GT2 decklid/wing).
I just don't know...

I'll do the installation - if I ever get them painted

Well, I decided to give him another shot, so I called him this morning and he agreed to come to my home tonight.
At that time, he said he would call today at 1:00 PM to confirm the appointment - here it is 3:25 PM and no call...
I wonder if he will show

Be patient with him.
He's getting a bit overbooked due to his work quality and I am sure he wants every job done to his specs.
He is worth it.
I guaranty it!
You'll like him as well. He's a great person.
Why he's just as nice as Eugene!
