Sharkwerks is a little pricy, but they do things right. I have not heard anything good or bad about S Car Go.
For maintenance, I go to Marvin (The Rennshop) at Santa Clara; good guy and the price is fair.

Yeah Jimmy is my new "go to guy"... he has treated me great in the few times I have been there in recent months. He is close by accessible, reasonable, and knows the aftermarket stuff too. I will be having him install my turbo upgrades when I decide which ones...

You wanna talk about expensive and slow response time....
They are worth the money to me for their responsiveness and top notch reputation. They are still cheaper than the stealership!
Have heard great things about Marvin.

PS How's the american muscle doing?
Hey Eugene, that's right he is (minus exhaust/LWF for now)... Should be fun for him when it's done but don't go racing with that GT660 (no fair!).

Man..... still trying to put it all together..... that seriously is a neverending project to get running... still trying to keep it but may have to sell it. I think it can be finished by end of Feb or early March though...

Glad I found this thread! I've been trying to build up enough posts to send flash68 a PM on this topic. Hopefully you guys don't mind, but I'll dump that message in here
And no offense intended, sharkster, but I'm not excited about going to Fremont.
I'm new to this Porsche game, and I'd like to ask you a few questions about getting work done in SF. I just bought an 04 TT Cab from Sonnen. While I'm not ready to go nuts with upgrades yet, I do have some plans and I'm curious who you trust to work on your car.
The scope of work I'm interested in short-term is relatively basic: aesthetic stuff like an Alcantara wheel & ****, aluminum pedals, and an iPhone integration. Over the next year, when I get used to 420 bhp, I'll start in with the other stuff.
I live in SoMa and use the car as a DD to commute to Novato 3 or 4 days a week. So I'm open to shops in the city or in Marin. Also, do any of the performance shops you trust do audio as well (just for the Denison Gateway 500)?
