Ya, that's actually what i figured... We're only going to stop if we find a nice clear stretch of road for sound clips!

For those that dont know exactly where it is, here's the address of the memorial park. Very shortly after you pass the memorial park, at the top of the hill, you'll make a left and you should see a small parking lot right there.

10600 Skyline Blvd, Redwood City, CA 94062

Ok, now Im confused... I thought the meet spot was right around 35/92. But on google maps, that address looks as if its a 3-5 miles up. I'll be coming up 92 from 280. Make a left on 35 and hope I find you all.

If not Ill just stay in first gear at like 6k rpms. Up and down skyline, Ive got straight exhaust, no cats, so Im hoping its loud enough were you all hear me and flag me down.

LOL, Im sure they would hear you! I saw you leave SR last Sat (I think that was you) and that was a glorious sound the v10 made as you tore up that road that leads toward Stevens Creek, Hatton St I think it is?

Anyway, im tempted to join. Ive gone on a drive to SR with Fayence and some others before, been wanting to hear that CGT sound again (ive heard it in my dreams lol) and its been a while since I was up at Skyline area too.

Well, If i can drag my *** out of bed that early Im game, otherwise Ill see some of you at the Row. So the revised leave time is 7am, and Im guessing youll hang out no later than that? Any stops along the way or pure drive ?

...Oh by the way, I would be on the R6 if I joined, hope that inst a problem

No stops, unless we can find a nice stretch for sound clips. An R6 would be sick!

That's correct. Its a couple miles up. Go to the top of the hill make a left and you'll see us in a small lot. This is going to be nuts! A Viper, CGT, GT700, GT2 and GT3 with straight pipes!!!

Yea, Probably me I like to goof off in my car and have fun. Its definatley loud and obnoxious when I get on it. But its a very raw, rough sound. Im happy with it, it is what it is. But its nothing like the sweet sound of the Carrera GT, F430 or any of the Lambos that show up to SR. That GT seems to rev up as quick as any of m streetbikes i used to have. Its amazing!!
Will be fun to cruise with a couple of them tomorrow.

For anyone who still might read this I think I can clarify between what CarNerd and Driftin are saying. I know Skyline really well so I know all the vista points. The one for the meet is directly after you make the Left onto 35 at the crest half way up Hwy 92. So in that respect it IS a few miles up 92 from 280. But what Driftin was saying is of you Map the address CarNerd put in the first post " 10600 Skyline Blvd, Redwood City, CA 94062 " you actually get a spot on 35 a few mi away from that Vista Point/Parking Lot.

Ok its nearly 2a, id have to be up by 615 to make it to this thing (thankfully I live in San Bruno and the Rocket is fueled and ready to roll ) Hopefully Ill see you there. Its rather likely Ill show up at 7:15a. If youve all left and are headed south on 35 Hopefully you can stop at 35/84 (aka Alice's) and wait a few minutes. If I dont catch you, have a safe and LOUD drive

CarNerd, my cell is 650.438.7114. As im a rider I cant check missed calls/txt when on the bike but ill have it with me!

First off, a big thanks to all those that made it out this morning. It was a great turn out and tons of fun!

Second my sincerest apologies for the rookie move and bad roads. It was my fault, adjustments will be made if and when there is another run, and I can assure all those who were upset by it, it wont happen again. Thanks again guys!

Sounds like you guys had a nice drive. Next time if you need help about routes in this local area, let me know. Been running these hills since the early '60s, first on motorcycles then on 4 wheels. (Yeah, I know, that makes me OLD!!!)

You definitely just dated yourself. Although in this world that makes you all the more wise and experienced.

The route was actually really good. Paul knows those roads pretty well too. There was just one section with a lot of undulation where a lot of the low riding cars (most actually) bottomed out a lot.

Sounds like this was an interesting drive fellas. Ill keep my eyes peeled for the next one and try to get an earlier night beforehand! Alarm went off at 6:15 and my body just said, "sorry bud, not gonna happen"

Carnerd, what happened, did you go on some "goat trails" up there that weren't favorable to Supercar suspension?
