Paul is the man when it comes down to those hills! He knows the better than the back of his hand.

Stage Rd was the ****ty *** road where we all started bottoming out, and forced me to slow down to what I thought was a crawl. The E60 M5 was able to handle that road much better than the GT2

Yeah, I was 2 cars behind you. Entire time I was like, man, that GT2 must be hurting. Can't imagine how the ride would be in the CGTs.

Good call on the early start time. It got pretty warm and crowded after 9am. How did the drive to SR turn out? Did you guys do stuff after (lunch, another drive in sbay)?

You were in the Carrera Cab (im searching my memory databanks, and John was behind me in the Turbo, and then you)? If Iv got the right guy, Thanks for leading us back to Alices! I was VERY impressed, as you did a fine good (and fast!!) job at leading us up 84!

I couldnt believe it was 74degrees at 7am at Vista point. Freakin CRAZY!!! Nobody lasted very long at SR, as it was just wayyy too hot to handle.

Yup, that's me. I live near the area so I know the main roads. Yet, Paul managed to show me new roads today which I thought was really cool.

I really like the stance of your GT2. Very pretty and quite possibly my favorite 996 variant. The turbo sounded really awesome too. The smoke coming out of the turbo is quite interesting. I can always tell when the car is pushed by a cloud.

Wished I had gotten there earlier to chat with you all. Will meet you again I'm sure.

Dick Fidd is infamous around these parts
Great drive yesterday - I hadn't been on any of those roads before - great views and temperature changes. Intoxicating exhaust notes and whiffs of catless fumes on each corner exit.

The white GT3 in front of me during the first section was running sticky Toyo R888's - It was like a speedboat going around corners - throwing a roostertail of gravel. Very cool as long as I stayed off his bumper...

The M5 felt great (what bumpy section?), but I was likely driving my car a little harder than the rest of you in order to keep pace, especially in the tighter stuff. Looking forward to doing it again.

Sorry for the poor footage... It gives you an idea. Sorry for the abrupt ending, my buddy filming got bored as we werent driving very fast. I'll take better clips/pics next run.
