///ECFest - San Luis Obispo - Sat Nov 13th

Here it is guys and gals. Special thanks to mikracer (Jin) for all his help in scouting parks and talking to the different restaurants to help us finalize the plans.

WHEN: Sat Nov 13th till Sun Nov 14th

WHERE: San Luis Obispo

WHAT:
1) Potluck BBQ/Picnic
2) Dinner at Native Lounge
3) VIP After Party at Native Lounge

ACCOMMODATIONS: Marriott Courtyard, San Luis Obispo (http://www.marriott....san-luis-obispo)

AGENDA:
SAT, NOV 13TH:
- 8AM-8:30AM: NorCal and SoCal caravans leave for SLO. Caravan info will be added closer to the date.

- 12PM: Meet at Santa Rosa Park (Santa Rosa and Oak St)
*Potluck BBQ/Picnic
*Alcohol beverages allowed
*Group BBQ area can accommodate up to 100 people
*Parking lot fits about 90 cars compared to just 20 or so for French Park that we used the last couple times

- 4PM-5PM: Head back to Courtyard hotel to check in
*1605 Calle Joaquin Rd, San Luis Obispo
*Group rate of $159/night for standard room with 1 King or 2 Queens, with breakfast for two
*Call hotel at 805-786-4200 or 800-321-2211 and ask for E60.net group rate. Deadline to book is Oct 31st.

- 8PM: Dinner at Native Lounge (http://www.nativelounge.com/)
*Appetizers - Calamari Frita and Chicken Egg Rolls
*Starter - Caesar Salad
*Entrees - Choice of Center Cut Rib Eye Steak or Pan Roasted Local Halibut
*Dessert - Optional
*Estimated cost is about $40 (with taxes and gratuity) which includes sodas and iced tea but no alcohol. We'll do alcohol on a separate bill for those that will be drinking.
*I will most likely ask that you guys Paypal me at least the $40 dinner cost in advance of the meet

- 10PM: VIP party
*Native Lounge turns into a club at night and we'll be reserving their VIP room that overlooks the dance floor
*We're working on a deal with them for buy-two-get-one free bottle service

SUN, NOV 14TH
- Breakfast
- Caravan home

IMPORTANT: When adding your name to the list, please use the following format to notate how many people for each activity. Use B for BBQ, D for dinner and P for party and put the number of persons after each letter. Ex: If you have two people going to all the activities then put B2, D2, P2. Also, if you guys can PM me your emails, that would be great.

Guys, I need to get solid headcount for the dinner by Fri Oct 29th. I know this meet is a bit far but the caravan there is part of the fun. Leaving around 8AM on a Sat morning means lots of empty straight aways. It'd be great if you can stay for the whole event and leave on Sun but we've had folks that have driven home the same day. This is the sixth time I've done this and it has always been a great time.LET'S DO THIS!!!!

It'll go by quick. It's about 190 miles from SJ to SLO so you're looking at less than 3 hours. haha

I'm checking with my social secretary, but if I do go, it'll be driving down Hwy 1 on Friday. Us retired folk can do such things.

Oh, yeah!! I've done it on a motorcycle twice, in my RX-7/993TT/996GT3 many times. Always good, even with RV's and/or trailer-hauling trucks in the way.

Glad you're joining us John.

Looks like we might be changing the agenda a bit and not do dinner at Native. Instead, I'm trying to see if the hotel can let us watch the Pacquiao fight in their lounge or conf room that night and order food in. Then head to Native Lounge after for the club.
