I'm glad too Eugene. I'll be prepared and purchase the pass/tickets online next time.

Since I can't add much to the fantastic photos that Frank and Eugene have already posted, I'll just add a few that are a little different than the others (with some captions up top). Hope you enjoy them!
Our arrival in the fog (about 7:20am):
Alex's car looked like it belonged on the track -- I think they just waved him into the display area :
Warm up laps in the fog -- must have felt lonely out there:
At least the pace car was keeping things under control:
One of the best picture taking spots on the track -- the Corkscrew:
Strategically placed signage:
More Corkscrew:
Now that's making use of the full width of the track :
Sun is out and the corral is full -- note that this is just part of one of the corrals:
The track is getting full too:
Helping to keep the cars secure, or just checking out the cars?
Mr. von Platen (President, Porsche North America):
Dr. Wolfgang Porsche (question: is there a new mid-engine Porsche in design? answer: No (with a Big Smile)):

Sunday was spectacular! Thanks to all who made the recommendation to get down there and check it out. Got there around 8am and it wasn't that crowded (driving the 101 at 7am is just awesome). It was actually beautiful- all sun no fog. Walked around the Porsche Paddock to start with. Met one of Porsche's tech trainers from Georgia (super nice guy) and started to take it all in. I absoloutely loved the 918RSR on display. Proceeded to walk all the rest of the paddock and was just amazed at the set up. The history exhibit of Porsche 911 was outstanding. Saw Patrick Long chatting it up with fellow racers. I will say it was P-car heaven. (If I can figure out how to post some photos, I will.) Ended up in downtown Carmel for lunch which also wasn't crowded at all. What a freak'n weekend!!

Good for you Rich. You have a very nice collection; wow, you took so many pictures. It was very interesting that we all take pics of the same cars at a different time.

That time is upon us again, Le Mans May 9-11 2013 @ Laguna Seca. I have my pit row suite 1 booked!
I will start a new thread but look through the pics in this one to get excited...

Seeing those pictures again brings back the memories of how great the Rennsport Reunion was -- what an amazing event! Yes, I'm getting pumped for the events this year -- ALMS, Continental Sports Car, Monterey Motorsports Reunion. And don't forget we've got the Porsche Parade 2014 in Monterey next year. See all of you out there!
