Scott,
If you like, we can meet up at Danville and drive down to Fremont together. The reason is... the drive at Altamont Pass is quite short.

dj,
We, Eugene and Eugene, had a little concern and may want to give you a heads up. Patterson Pass is a quite bumpy road at some stretches and have some loose gravel at times. We don't know if this is okay for you since you ride is quite low. If you have concerns, we can always come back from the Altamont Pass Rd.

Hey Don,
My wife will be going. You want to go down to Fremont with me, Palomares Rd is a nice drive (we we'll probably go down from I-680).

Thanks guys for the heads up. I will just go with what everyone else is comfortable with. I am not familiar with the roads there anyways. I will carry a radio and will slow down if it's too bumpy. Appreciate you guys for watching out for me!

My GF will also come along. FYI.

Cool, we can decide if we want to change the route at the 2nd Starbucks stop.
Thx

Sounds like fun. Count me in

David if you're coming from the 92 (San Mateo Bridge) let me know. We can ride out from Hayward to Fremont via Mission Blvd.

Not a good drive for a group on the weekend. Too many motorcyles and sightseers along with the fact that it is a one and a half lane road with major blind turns for a good portion of the road. I've done this drive many times and although it's fun / scenic. With a large group it's too much of a liability IMO.
