Anyone want to head down to Canepa Design in Scotts Valley with some Porsche-car members this Saturday? The time we will get to Canepa is around 11 am so I'd say leave around 9:45? The event is coming up this Saturday 4/7

 

Can't make it this time -- but I have done the Canepa tour before. It's worth seeing if you haven't been there before. Cool place.

 

Was down that way last weekend and called them to see if we could stop in but they didn't answer. So that means I'm most likely in to head down there this weekend! Was planning to do a drive north of the city this weekend but looks like that will have to wait. Where are you planning to meet? Looking forward to it!

 

nice, umm, where are you coming from? Maybe me and my dad can stop somewhere and we can drive together down there. Maybe do some freeway pulls for some freeway fun, have it on camera what are you gonna be riding in?

I just picked up a 996 GT3 4.0 and also have a 996 Turbo. I think I'll take one and my friend will take the other so we can do some back to back driving and see how they compare.

 

sweet! Not bad! Cant wait for those awesome sounding freeway pulls! Definitely need that GoPro next to the exhaust haha. Maybe an in action if my dad lets me, need it for my 200th video special.

Just as an FYI, Canepa is open to the public so there is no reason a group of us couldn't go down.

 

True -- but I would recommend one of these PCA tours if the opportunity arises. You get to go through the shop floor. I'm not sure if that's normally open to the public.
