Newport. Cool. I used to live there. My Dad still does. This may be a good excuse for a road trip. I did it once before back in 05. My Dad helps organize some charity car shows so we drove the pcar up, entered it (it was at Inskip Porsche back), and surprised the crap out of him when he was judging You can't beat summer in Newport.

 

can we set a date for this? gotta make sure no conflicts with other meets!! this spring/summer is getting busy already!

 

I'm so confused by this thread.... are we doing a springtime newport run or not... would the July charity run crew please start their own thread? I'd happily do both but planning is going nowhere with all the threadjacking going on in here... unless i'm confused... which i am

Heck I just got back today literally from driving down to my old college (Virginia Tech) for our spring car show week of insanity. Why not keep driving around I say!!! Beats the little bit of sleet I had to drive through in VA going there, figures that would happen to me driving there but I wouldn't have thought in VA instead of mass.

 

i would love to go, but my car is not welcome around all of yours lol.... maybe in a couple of years...

Man don't do it the weekend of the 21st in June thats the weekend I fly down to VA for the bachelor party, haha. At some point need to do a ride with these cars up here for sure
