Golf, don't mention that word with this rain based place. I need to go back to Scottsdale again. End of January for sure.
Already have a OKI card with 3 rounds left I need to use by March 31, 08 (Coal Creek @ Newcastle, Hawks Prairie & either Trophy Lakes or Echo Falls) If the weather improves , let me know when you are going.
I usually renew my card at the golf show. I know Mark, Bruce & Vincent play golf as well

We should set up a date at Aldarra when the weather clears. 80 bucks for the round, but I'll buy the beer afterwards.

My neighbor just played Chambers Bay. Winter rate: $75.00

He said for the most part it is worthy of the hype.

Aldarra best spot on the Eastside to play without a doubt. I'm in and maybe we can get Steve to bless us with his presence. Haven't played since 3 rounds in Bandon a couple weeks ago but will try my best. Don't care about the $80 beer not necessary to purchase for me. Would Join if I had a helicopter to get there from my house.

Chambers Bay worth 1 trip around only. Has some holes that play longer than most men are happy with. The fairway surrounds are close to impossible to play out of so don't miss the center. Hole 1 490 yard par 4. Hole 6 or 7 don't remember 451yard up hill (plays 500) par 4. Other than that easy to score well if you hit the fairways.

Haven't played Aldarra yet. Fred Couples endorsed the opening.
Mark let me know & I'll be there. Your course-Canterwood is still the stuffest course in the state. Your hole *10 sound like the up-hill Chambers Bay par 4. I plan to play that course when the weather co-operates.

Every par 4 > 400 is too long for me.

Canterwood is tough. You can hit what seems like a good shot and still end up in trouble!

Jeff,

Thanks for the heads-up. Been looking for a gift for my business partner.
Hooked myself up too.

Merry Christmas.

I'll bring you out this summer for some fun. It's not as tough as everyone says it just happens to be a course that has OB's on every hole. Some think it's unfair but it isn't if you strike the ball well.

Aldarra is Fantastic. I actually was about to join and realized I just wouldn't use the membership enough living so far away. Still might someday when Golf is back to the top 5 of my hobbies.
