It may or not be a scam.
However, what is real, tangible and authentic is how PIZZED she'll be that your sorry **** did nothing special for her THAT day. *Especially* if she says it's "fine". $50+ for flowers is the cheapest insurance policy you'll ever buy

Such a stud David. No wonder your wife looks so happy.

david,
i'm in the same boat as you! if the guy feels "forced" to do something, then it doesn't mean that much to the girl anyway. so i'd rather have them save it for another day.

first Valentines day with my new girlfriend and she gave me permission to forget it. 4 days in Sun Valley the week before and her birthday is 2 days before. I get to choose between the two.

I'm with all that thing its a Hallmark Holiday and Bandon Dunes was built on it. So to screw the card companies bring her to Hallmark show her the card you would have bought her and put it back. There $5 saved.

I don't feel sorry for Vince with the 12 females working for him. He hired them.

Jags you poor bastard 5 sisters. When did you get to say anything at home

My girl told me a while back that V-day is not a day she cares about. We will hang out together and do dinner at home. We told each other $15-$20 MAX...but all I care about is hanging with her. I appreciate a girl who doesn't "expect" something on V-day. I do great stuff for her all year long!

This already happens enough. I thought this thread was for original ideas. I have never done this on Valentines day though.

IMO it's best if she's there to help pick her out. So don't just show up with one she might not be as happy as she would be if she helped find her with you.

So, when does our day come?

our day comes only once and it's a whole weekend. the weekend you get your nuts cut, you get fixed, see you later new kids. 1/2 a day with ice on the boys and 2 full days of them feeling guilty as all get out.

That's it. That's the only one we get....
But these days I feel damn good everyday I spend with my new girlfriend

Dude I can't even keep track of all your girlfriends.
Like most on here you're not qualify to give me advice.

i disagree Vince. Bruce (who's been with the same for 4-months or so) is More qualified then a married guy. The woman that are dating are the ones that care the most about this STUPID Hallmark Holiday.

I am just out of an 11 year marriage 14 year relationship and he's nailed it. Spending time with them is the best thing you can do. It doesn't matter where or what you do as long as your together.

I'm qualified and I say take her out away from the kids for the night and she won't care as long as she's with you.

Side note tell her your taking her to Cannon Beach with the Ferrari club this year in early May. Get a sitter for the 60 little Vincent-nettes running around for 3 days and you will get bonus points on Valentines day for this as well.

Nah unlike a marriage, if he has a problem he can just move on to next one on the blacklist .

I do agree with you on spending lots quality time though. That goes with every relationships including marriage, kids, parents, friends, staffs and cars etc..etc....
