Overheard a couple of guys planning their Friday night. They were going to Wendy's, to get a couple of bowls of chili, and four burgers, stop by the 7-11 and get a half rack of Bud, pick up the girls and go to their apartment and watch football. Sounds pretty romantic to me.

Canlis is fabulous yes but not really romantic. they do have the private dining room but I wouldn't recommend for a 20 year.

Perche No is fantastic as well but the real way to eat there is there 6 course wine makers dinner. It takes 3 plus hours and costs a little but is really fun with 4 or 6 people.

Get them a room at Willows Lodge and a reservation at the Herb Farm if you can. They'll enjoy the food, atmosphere and "the ceremony" they call dinner up there. It's not the old house it used to be but can be very nice. Get them 2 massages in the morning after they have a nice breakfast at the Barking Frog next door and they've just had a pretty nice weekend just minutes from Seattle.

For Romantic in Seattle, Palisades on the south end of Magnolia, really awesome waterfront views, great food, & very nice inside.

For great food, & good atmosphere, both Moxie & Crow on LQA.

Gotta go with Mark on this one. Similar plans with the ex one year and I think I was bulletproof for a good six months!

Seriously, that's a fantastic experience and The Herb Farms is one of my favorite places ever.

Herb Farms gets my vote as well. How can you go wrong with their French Five Star Service and 10 course meal.

My bro's been to Herb Farm, I have yet to go. Sounds like it's something I should do.

FerRrari is infamous around these parts
I've already got reservations for the Herb Farm
My second choice would be Lark, excellent food and service, my favorite restaurant in Seattle.
Another good place would be Rover's I've heard the Chef is amazing but I haven't had a chance to go there yet.

I may have to go with herb farms then. I truly have no idea whats going on since the wife wanted to plan our bdays *we have the same bday...weird i know* but not she wants to roll the bdays and vtines into one package. So I might steal Marks idea and slap my name on it.

Good call. We aren't going to be doing it on Vtines day but the day before or after. We have a bday party to plan and do on the 14th.
