wow....february is my bday...valentines day...and our 2 year wedding annvrsy. we just roll it all up into one. for vtines day it seems like most guys are only into it because of the girlies. is this pretty true? i only want a guy to do something special for me because it's something he really wants to do. not because he feels like he'll be in the dog house if he doesn't.

you guys are really thoughtful and your ideas are really sweet!

I go out of my way to do things I know she will like because shes really into Valentines day. Just like she woudl go out in the cold lip chapping wind to get me a 6 pack during super bowl . We both know it wont be the end of the world if nothing is done but you want to go the extra mile to put a smile on the other person face.

you're a keeper RB! =) sounds like your girlie is a keeper too! i agree with you. you know you've got something good when you take care of each other all year round. =)

another good idea is to fly up to the san juan islands for the day. we went a couple of years back on the kenmore seaplane. the ride is fun, you can go to dinner, stroll around the marina, etc.

Vasiliy check the menu of the Herb Farm prior to going. It's very seasonal and changes. You'll like different seasons over others. I really only like their menu 2 menu's a year. It's about the night. It's a nice place and real fun with 4 or 6 people. It's a very long dinner and you don't want to run out of things to say to your bride

I've also found Barking Frog to be a nice 'alternative' to Herb Farm.
