studs make it SO much easier to get your wheels off and on. You just have to be careful when puting them on as they will scratch the bolt holes on your wheels if you're not paying attention.

i'm glad i stole my silver wheels off todd's and got the black ones for the 996. i'm loving the black look on everyone's car! i just can't bring myself to do it. well, i'mma girl, so it's okay. =)

very few if any manufactures paint aux parts (ie bumpers, skirts, mirrors, etc) at the time of the body work. Have them contracted out painted and assembled at a different factory. Over time, the difference is quite apparent. Some times it can be lessened with a polish, but usually that is only 5% of the time. If it really bothers him i would recommend having a good shop like Haury's on lake city way reshoot the gas cover to match the sides.

I did not notice that during the purchase and I have yet to get it corrected.
mostly because you can not tell when the car is dirty... and it is usually dirty
Need to powdercoat it black

Carfax and paint analysis both good... all service records in order... so I am not sure what to make of a different color gas flap...
Oh well -- all I can do is get it fixed and forget it... or just never wash it!
