My dog, Tahoe has disappeared.
My dog, Tahoe somehow got out as I was leaving for dinner. I know that it's a long shot being able to find her. She's 9 years old and has been out and about for the past 4 hours since I left for dinner. Please send your prayers for her safe return.

Nice! This may sound wacky but I'm sure your dog knows the sound of your or your wife's car.
One day our pooch took off like a shot (it's the 1/2 terrier I guess) and he was gone for 12 - 14 hours. We were sick about it.
Looked all over the neighborhood. Posted signs everywhere. Enlisted the neighbors.
After taking a nap I took one last slow 3:00am cruise around the neighborhood in her car hoping he'd recognize the sound.
He was 1 block away from the house in the middle of the street looking at me with that "WHAT?!?" look on his face.

Thanks Jeff, I'm not married. I'm hoping that by some miracle that she shows up. She's run out of the garage as I was backing out before somehow getting thru the inner garage door. She's a sly one alright. Thanks for sharing your experience. I'm hoping that she does come back somehow. She has no collar because of my stupidity. She does however have a microchip in her back so hopefully that helps others lead her back home. I'm going to try and post some flyers in the neighborhood.

I'm thinking about you Jason and know exactly what you're thinking. We have a lab, Gracie, and she has left home a couple times. We thought for sure she was gone, but she came back in one piece. The last time she disappeared, one of our neighbors found her roaming around and took her home. Hopefully, the same for you and Tahoe.

Thanks Josh and Carrie for coming out at 11 pm to help me look for Tahoe. You guys are the best. I've hung flyers all over my neighborhood offering a reward for her safe return. Hopefully she makes her way home safe and sound. Thank you all for your support.

Thank you William and Todd for your thoughts. Tahoe is not an outdoor dog so hopefully she survives the night. She has no collar/tags. Only a microchip.
