Late Notice: Ocean Shores Drive March 1st/2nd
#31
haha...thanks for the post James.
If anyone has any questions please feel free to ask.
I understand that this is very short notice for many of you so I am obviously not really expecting many of you to come out. For those that do, I am sure you will enjoy some of the roads that we will be taking.
The weather is looking like there will be a little precipitation, but the forecasts are always wrong, so who knows.
Hope to see some of you out there.

I had a blast on the Mt St Helens drive I planned last year that a lot of 6speeders attended.....Good group of enthusiasts

Actually, the road that goes to St Helen's from I-5 is FANTASTIC. It is smooth, great curves, and good stretches to open up the car. I did the drive in my e46 M3 this past July. The roads around Mt Rainier are another story; they are pretty run down in many areas and have a LOT of potholes. Did that route in July also.

yeah. I raise it about half an inch since you last saw it. Getting the fenders rolled on thursday
It's still pretty low though...ha.

I'm talking about highway 504 and 505.

Yep, definitely not the highway I was thinking of. The one that goes to Windy Peak (NF-99) was VERY good when it was still smooth a couple years ago. It's gotten worse since then. I'll have to try Hwy 504 one day.

Hey Matt...lets go do St. Helens
#43
Yeah, the road that actually goes up St Helens is extremely bumpy and not lowered car friendly....
We went up the highway that takes you up to the observation centers that are across from St Helens...
Great road
