Who Did your Clear Bra?

Could I ask my fellow northwesters who has Ventureshield on their car and who did your install? What comments do you have - what were you happy or unhappy with? Thank you!

I sent my sister-in-law to Mirrorworks with her new car. They did a great job on both the Ventureshield and the window tint. The did the front end on a black car and it was perfect. No bubbles or wrinkles anywhere. Highly recommend them.

I've had Metropolitan Detail do both the Porsche and the Audi with great results. The Audi got the latest product from Ventureshield called clear coat. Cost is a little more than the regular, but looks great. I think I passed on their phone number to you the last time you brought this topic up.

I can tell you that you do not want the dealer to get it done for you, because it'll cost a lot more than if you were to go to a detail shop of your choice.

BTW if you are considering installing an aftermarket muffler and/or wheels, light bulbs, steering wheel, etc. I would recommend you purchase those and other additional personalizing items before the car gets here so that you can have the dealer install them before you take delivery. It will give you something to do while you're waiting. Besides women like to shop don't they?

He's right, I had mine done originally by Barrier and they charged me $1895 for a $895 dollar job!!!

The extra $1000 is supposedly for a guarantee that if a rock or rocks ever does get through, they'd pay for repainting the hood. Hardly worth it, IMHO. A big rip off...
