Is Zymol serious???

http://store.miataparts.org/zyvigl.html

They say they'll refill it for life though. Is the product actually worth it?

Yep, pretty crazy huh? The crazy part is that there's an even more expensive version too!

Yeah...just make sure you clean your container...

http://autopia.org/forum/detailing-p...=zymol+vintage

'make sure you take care of the container. When you send it back for a refill, they check to see what kind of condition its in, and whether its clean. You have to clean out the residue of wax that's left over on the tub wall of the crystal container...and with a sponge, NOT a metal scraper. They will charge you if they have to do cleaning or any type of fix for a container. Zymol honors and stand by their products..........but they're not exactly sleeping or giving away the store!! '

might be a good deal if you own a detail shop...

although they might think something is up if you send it in once a week for a refill.

Zymol Royal is the really expensive one at over 7K. And it is intended for detail shops, really meticulous ones! It came about back in the day before venture shield, but the principal is the same. The Bugatti Royal had a lot of time put into the body and paint, and I guess someone decided it needed it own fancy wax. If you’ve ever checked out their site they are very serious. They even make waxes for particular finishes and colors. Especially single stages and thin finishes. They also have one available for 30,000 now. Better act fast its limited production.

The guy that does these details also does Veyrons and other rarities. There are audiophiles, videophiles, car nuts and I don’t know what the clean car detailing version would be. But if a bird even tried to get this guys car I think he would turn it into KFC.

Some cool info, although a little overboard!

For that kind of money I could buy a lifetime supply of Turtle wax, and I don't think I could tell the difference, plus it would be a whole lot less work.
