Good Tire Shop

Hi,

I'm looking for a good place to get some new tires installed and balanced (I've already purchased them) and also an alignment. I'd prefer a shop that has the Hunter GSP9700 and that won't scratch my wheels like most dealers do

Location wise, the Eastside is preferable. What's your favorite place?

Ask Jeff (lig), he has friends who run a tire mounting shop from their house. Heard that they do a great job.

I've used car nutz before- they suck.

Omni up in Kirkland is great from what I've heard. If you're in Seattle then Group 2 Motorsports also does a good job too. Just tell them you want them to treat your wheels with baby gloves.

Thanks for the suggestions. I think I'll give Omni a try. Just need to find some time to actually get it done...

My pals:

www.ftlperformance.com

Real car guys to the core. Russ and Marek are top notch. I just ordered a set of R888s from them. They are really inexpensive for the tire and wheel services and are careful. It's just a tire/wheel machine in a garage - no alignments etc... They are in Kirkland.

Also - another great place would be:

www.tightntidyracing.com

Karl and Amy are two of the fastest autocrossers in the country and are the real deal as well. They are in Renton.

FTL does really good work, they're right down the street from me basically.

I'd do more business with them, but I don't have a spare set of wheels to work with and they're more of a "drop it off today" and "pick it up tomorrow" shop.

They do great work though and the guys are complete enthusiasts! His girlfriend also drives a Hellrot M3 and he has a few vehicles. Not to mention a garage that I admire.

FTL = FTW

I have tried tightntidy before and they did an excellent job. Have also used truline in bellevue and they were great as well.
