My friend DT and I went to the Alfa lapping day yesterday at Bermerton Motorsports Park, I drove my 997 Turbo and my friend drove his Mini, Troy ( Antroiny ) was driving his M3 and Jason ( Atomic80 ) was there too ! It was raining a bit in the morning but not for long ! We got to drive in wet condition and dry condition, it was fun !

great pictures! i'll have to ask you about alfa r. lapping day when i see you next time! i didn't know they had it at bremerton. looks like fun! do they set up a course? what do they do? i'd love to do one if it ever falls on a weekend!

Jody, I have attended the Alfa Romeo event several times in the past at Pacific Raceways but first time at Bremerton Motorsports Park, it is shorter and lower speed than Pacific Raceways, but it was still very fun, and they did set up the course ! Alfa Romeo Club is going to have another lapping day at Pacific Racways on 6-18, it is a Wednesday but it starts at 4pm until dark, may be you can go to that one ! Too bad I will be in California that time, otherwise I will go for sure !

WOW how was the Noble?

 

Very fast....that's for sure. I have a video of it whipping around the track.

 

Nice to meet you, William! Bummer the morning lapping was in the wet, but it sure did make the afternoon much more fun when everything dried up. I corded my right front tire, so I was out of commission by the third run session.

Jason: Thanks for riding along with me! I hope you had fun. You should catch a ride (with me or someone else) at Pacific Raceways so you can compare it with your motorcycle lapping day.

 

Troy, let me know when you're heading to Pacific Raceway. I think I recall Tess saying that the next Alfa session is at Pacific Raceway! On a Wednesday if I recall..perhaps I could come with you then? I sure had fun! You were easily one of the best drivers out there.

My buddy got to ride in the Noble & Caterham. He said they are just nuts.

 

What even more nutz is the rig he hauls that stuff around in lol

.... if I remember right, he has a GT3 and an Elise too ....... and a wife still, impressive!

 

I ran with that Noble at every Pacific track outings in the last 2 years. The guy does not point anyone by that's faster him. He also owns Lotus Caterham and Ruf 996TT.

RT the guy you're referring to is Ray who owns lots of cars including the ones you mentioned above.
