Body Shop recommendations? (Body kits/paint)
Hi Guys/Gals,
Do you have any recommendations on good body shops that install body kits/paint/aero kits/spoilers, etc? I know body shops that work on cars accident cars do it, but I was wondering if you know of any that work specifically on installing body kit installation/paint?
The body kit company recommended one in LA, but that's a bit of a jaunt for me! =P
We have our 996 at Queencity right now from the accident back in April. They are doing a great job, but they are really booked with accident cars.
Thanks in advance!

Bel-Red Auto Rebuild is really good with body kits, painting, etc. Just ask for Brandy when you call. I heard about your incoming body kit and can't wait to see how it looks when finished. You could always just have them paint the pieces for you and ask Carlos/Waide to help install them.

I had my lotus repaired at haurys collision. I went to bel red and they were very impersonable almost rude with me so I didn't go there despite the huge lotus customer base they have. Zac at haurys took care of me and kept me updated thru out the whole progress. I figure if can repair a lotus with aftermarket goodies and make everything purrrdy you can install and fit bodykits. I know they're big in the bmw community

I own a bodyshop in the south end, and we have worked on several 6speed members cars, including Wyatt's, Bruce's, Jag's, and Josh's Boxster. What are you looking to have installed? A complete bodykit, or just a spoiler, or all of it? Give me a call and we can go over some options. ACC Collision 360-829-9388 just ask for Joe.

I would have Joe do the work...he does an amazing job at color matching and the fitment is always great!
Alot of you may remember Joe's old 997S..it was the Black Launch edition that Simon bought from Joe and he rolled that before he bought his 360 coupe. The 997 had a ful Rinspeed package and looked amazing!
ALso just wait for Joe's new project to start... 996 turned into 997GT3RS

not a prob!! always nice to know of other cars he has done and actually see the finished product.
You should have seen my 996 when I first got it. .The color was so mis matched it sucked. When TRG painted it everything was a different shade. Joe fixed and you couldn't tell what was repainted and what wasn't. Most companies will always need to paint more of the car so that they can blend it correctly. Joe is great at doing this process
