Cars & Coffee at Bridgeport Village, Oregon
Just wanted to extend an open invite to everyone, all clubs etc to the Cars & Coffee event at Bridgeport Village in Portland, Oregon every Saturday from 8am to 10am. Yesterday was the first event as planning and permissions took longer than anticipated, but everything is final, signed and we're good to go. Over 21 exotics showed for the first event.
As part of Lamborghini Club America, I partnered up with NW Ferrari Club to attend the event. Tutto Bene's the Italian Cafe inside Bridgeport opened their doors early for us as well as extended a 20% discount to everyone. I'm hoping to get the involvement of the Porsche club and some other local clubs to attend and meet other enthusiasts / owners.
Cars & Coffee will continue throughout the summer every Saturday, rain or shine, from 8-10am. Our designated parking area is the center of the front parking area directly across from Mario's (In the McCormicks parking lot). If all goes well, the event should grow very quickly and be a lot of fun.
Any dealers attending, the only rules we MUST abide by are the following: No Banners / flyers and NO, I MEAN NONE, test drives or rides during the event. If a dealer gives a test drive it jeapordizes the entire event by forcing EACH club and dealer in attendance to purchase event insurance prior to the event, which runs about $500 per day, per event.
Everyone please come and join in this...so far it's been a very welcome venue and has been met with a ton of positive feedback.
Questions or comments can be directed here by pm, via e-mail at LCA.Kevin@gmail.com or on my cells at either 503-969-2734 or 503-459-2951.
Looking forward to seeing many of you there!
Kevin

Another GREAT turn out today! Although I must say, the F-Club members/owners took note and obviously sent out the F-Signal summoning the troops after last weekend's total domination of Lambo's....thanks to Mike sleeping in, Wilson MIA, Larry MIA and a few others...I was the only Lambo there today! Well, Ali from GPI showed late in the game, making it 2 Lambo's for the event!
Ron Tonkin himself made it to the event today with his gorgeous yellow 599...great to see him and get his support on this, his wife came with her gorgeous yellow Maser and great times had by all. Very WARM out there early on today, but all in all, another GREAT turnout. About the same number of cars as last weekend but definately some new faces in this morning's crowd. Will post pics shortly, I think I have located my camera cable!
Thanks again to everyone that came out! Next weekend Tutto Bene's opens at 9am due to the holiday weekend and short staff, but they will be there for us again! Couple people are heading out of town, but for those die hard guys, we'll be there again! The event is gaining some great momentum...will work on cones for parking in the coming events so we don't get the random ford pickup or nissan murano parking in the middle of the event!
Thanks for the support guys! 22 in attendance today! Only managed to snap a few photos though.
And you Lambo guys better not leave me hanging again next weekend!

Kevin,
Thanks again for putting this on. Fun times and good to meet some others. Turns out a few even live close by. Look forward to the next one. Maybe some of us could go for a drive after.
Take care,
joe

Last weekend was a GREAT turnout! 10 total Lambos in attendance...the Ferrari guys, well...let's just say they misplaced the bat signal and were not there in "force" as one might say! All in all, even WITH the Portland Historic Races going on, we managed to get over 30 cars in attendance, which is a record high for the 4th consecutive weekend!
Thanks to everyone for participating in the event and supporting your clubs! Hoping to see everyone out there!
