Mike is trying to get me to bring the 996tt and the r8. So chances are they will both make an appearance. As long as Mike comes over on the 8th and helps me wash the cars!

 

Looks like I got one of the dyno spots. I've been waiting to see the beast on the dyno. MZ will be putting the car into 2wd mode for the dyno run. Should be a fun day.

 

I'll be there, hitting the dyno as well. The weather isn't looking too promising though.

 

damn was supposed to pickup my car from the body shop but for some reason.. they got way behind on work and I have to wait another week

I will still be there though.. just not with the ride

 

I might be able to make it down, if so we could discuss things there.

Have to agree with you on that one. Did you end up in 2nd place on the dyno runs? I somehow managed to sqeeze by with a 3rd place trophy for total HP.

Looks like the MZ display won best vendor display. Mark brought out both 430s, Kunal brought out his 996TT and the R8, and I had my 993TT.

Near the end of the show, I went over to the Griot's display where Bruce's car was and tossed the keys to my car to all 3 guys working there. Talk about some big smiles on their faces.

Fun day and the weather worked in our favor.

 

dang...i didn't know you were all headed down there. i thought just a couple of the 6speeders were going. sounds like a fun time! anyone take pics?

Um, you said in this thread that you were going to. I bet you had tons of fun with the old guys at the PCA picnic.

 

i know, but that was before i knew so many of you were going too! lol! that's okay....i'll get my 6speed fix at the drive on the 22nd. =)

Yep, ended up 2nd place. I wish they didn't run that TT for the last car, otherwise I'd have first. Also that dyno said I had 380 torque! There's no way! Haha.

 

well david, needless to say, i think i was the youngest one there! oh wait, william is 3 years younger than me. oh, and there was one little kid. haha! best part is, they announced the winner and they asked "what color of pink are those calipers called?" todd started to say "pornstar..." and i made him stop! the announcer then said "okay, we have the winner with the body part pink calipers!"

 

I was there for a bit...............it was a decent time kill exercise.
