Who has personalized plates?

FerRrari - I looked at some of those already and all but Matador were taken.
I think my whittled down list would be
VELOCE
RLRCSTR
PUR3FUN
ARANCIO
PEEL
but I'm saving the top pick until I get my application ready. I think its non-offensive and wont tick people off. I'm pretty sure that they'll all laugh when they see it.

I like the suggestion of something orange. How about OJ ? I went through the same turmoil trying to decide on mine. When you hit the right one, you won't have any question - it will be "you". When you find it you will say, THAT'S IT!

I've got my top two now down to
ARANCIO
VELOCE
They are both just backups though. My top pick is perfect, thats why I'm saving it for later. How long do plates take anyways? My recollection with my last car was they handed them to me when I did registration. Roy's doing it for me on this one but I figure it can't take more than a week, right?

Yep, Fuzzy Navel is also an orange. A certain fellow with a huge exotic car collection called his orange Gallardo just that. That's where I got the idea.
It could take anywhere from a week to a month to get the plates. Depends on how busy the DOL/DMV is. When I sent in my application for the 997TT it came back in about a week but for my Audi A3, it's taken slightly longer. I managed to get things moving with a phone call though. Might be worth a shot to contact the folks at the DMV directly.

If you go to down town Seattle DOL, you will be able to get your temp plate and register it there right away. Other wise you have to put the form in the mail and wait. I got my plate 2 weeks after I went down there.
Here is mine, UBRHASE - German for "Super Rabbit" or "Better Rabbit", For my 20th Anniversary GTI:

Wow I didnt know you could customize the LEM plates! Is it just that one or can you do others? I've got the National Parks plate.
