Tempted to do some for my car and curious on what others have gone for.

Not entirely unrelated, you might find some of it useful. Lot of the usual play on words. For lotus owners you'll obviously find a lot of hints at power to weight ratio.

I'm still trying to figure out what to get for mine.

* something about me? (like "mjf")
* something connecting my car to where I work (I work on a game that has "Black Lotus" as an iconic card)
* something humerous (like "NoTktPls")
* a message to the driver behind me (like "sorry")

Oddly enough "- -" is apparently a legal plate in WA, but hasn't been taken yet. I suspect it wouldn't pass a human inspection.

It's been my motto for years.

 

One that I'm leaning towards is IMIN1ST. I also like ARANCIO and its available.

I thought GUDLIFE might be funny but its taken.

I see that NOWRYS is availabe. That might be a good one too.

I just need to get my plates in so that I can apply for my personalized ones. You all better not steal my plates!

 

I've got "KLASS E" for my E class
I had my screen name "M-PRSEV" on my prior cars.

 

That thread was very helpful. My list just grew by a ton. There is a top pick I have that I took out b/c I was so surprised its not taken. I'll post it after I get my plates and am ready to send in the application. Here are my other thoughts. I need to pick the top 2 to put in in case my first choice isn't approved. for the E55, I've always been a big fan of SICKNE55 but have never pulled the trigger on it. Something 'orange' would be cool for your car. unfortunately I am not creative enough to come up with one!

 

I have GT SLVR on my 997tt and AUTOBN on my S550 !

 

I always liked "90INA25" For my dream sports car but 1. I don't have it yet and 2. i don't think it would go over well with local law enforcement

i just learned that i can personalize my LEM plates by seeing the other guys here with them. i'm going for the "BXTRGRL"

My old Honda had "NOTRQUE".
I wanted something like "DIVDBY0" for my Infiniti but I never got around to it.
I am going to do another on my second S2000... REDAT9K, or something...

I think they're fun when they're clever, but most people find them conceited.

 

I had SAYGDBY a while back. A buddy of mine had WUTWUZAT on his bike out in NC. That was great, but you'd need 8 letters.
