What time did you get back last year? I would like to be home around 6-7pm.

 

i believe it's about 4 hours down to winthrop and 4 hours back. that was just going by mapquest straight there though. that doesn't include stopping for lunch, icecream, gas, etc. i think i recall someone saying it was about 8 or 9 pm last year by the time they got home. a few of us broke off early last year.

 

No one knows where we are going tomorrow except bruce and i so who can assume the length of time its going to take?

Once we have Ice Cream all can follow or leave at their own pace. It's easy home and if you skip out on coffees on the way back 7pm is do able. Last year only 5 cars went the distance and 2 of us got to dinner in Tacoma at 9pm. two stops coming home though

 

After reading Ben's post I have decided to take that Carrie and I are taking the MINI and my dog as we may just stay over there tomorrow night. We have never been over to that area and we are looking forward to maybe hitting the complete N cascade loop and maybe do some hiking.

 

I knew Carrie adopted you through PAWS. That really explains a lot. Were you fixed?

Of course I was adopted through PAWS remember that is where you and I met. Guy's it was so sad seeing Mark with the cone around his neck.

Nope, not sniped yet but I have that scheduled in two weeks.

 

I don't recall anyone saying anything about Winthrop this year. That was last years drive. There's more then just one place to get ice cream. Destination is yet to be released. I just know that Mark has it all under control. His drive last year was the best, so I'm sure we will be pleased this year.

 

Well back at the hotel now, from dinner with Bruce, Jason, and Bruces buddy. Special thanks to Jason for picking Markus and I up at the airport, and Bruce for being my "tour guide" as we're ripping around downtown Seattle in the 996,

ya...you're right. i'm thinking of last years drive at how about long that drive took. i don't anything about this years. i'll go anywhere with friends to get some good icecream.

Nice to see you all this morning. As I walked back up to my office I listened to the roars of all your engines all the way back as you took off. Brought tears to my eyes that I couldn't join you. I hope you will post lots of pics because you had quite a line up of beautiful cars and I am sure beautiful scenery. Next year I will be there.
