Any Seattle area custom interior shops? Recommendations?

Hola Guys,

Anyone here have any good recommendations for custom interior shops? Considering getting my headliner wrapped in Alcantara. Looking for factory quality work. Since no one wants to trade me.

Btw. Thanks everyone for recommending paint shops. Getting some shortly.

Michael

They are the guys recommended by Barrier.

They have installed some carbon fiber stuff and have done some seat re-finishing.

I was thinking of doing alcantara along the door and they said they could do it no problem.

Thanks for the info! I've been meaning to have someone take a look at my headliner to see if alcantara is a possibility... it's a little disastrous right now (aftermarket moonroof added by previous owner and a terrible headliner added... looks like thin cloth wrapped around the edges... absolutely horrible). Will look into this soon.

That is great! Glad they do work with Barrier and Audi as that means they may actually know how to put the thing back together.

If you head out there before me, report back what you find.

I have used car nutz before and agree with Bruce. However, they are not the most organized and I don't think too highly of the management.

Three Suede headliners, 5 Recaro baby seats, 12 custom pedal cars and the entire rear carpeted area of my 997 GT3 replaced with Alcantara by Jeremy and Dave at Car Nutz.

Let me know if you would like to meet up and see their work, it speaks for itself

And for what it is worth, their management does not do the work. They are artisans.

Hey all, just wondering if you ended up getting your headliner reupholstered in suede/alcantara? I've been thinking of improving the interior in my C63 as that seems to be its biggest shortcoming. My biggest fear though, is taking a perfectly good interior apart and end up having parts that don't go together right, or during install ending up with scuffs scratches that wouldn't have occured had I just left things alone.

What would a place charge to have something like this done anyway? Depending on price, I might drop the whole idea in a heartbeat lol.

Also, has anyone had their dash covered in suede/alcantara before? I'm wondering how well it could be wrapped around the edges and maintain a factory look? Thanks.

I would strongly recommend CarNutz Customz to do your interior work. They did a fantastic job on my CLS55 AMG. Full alcantara with double diamond stitching as well as all my carbon fiber. Their attention to detail goes far beyond any shop I have seen. I am located down in the Los Angeles / Orange County area and I still had to car sent there to have all my work done.

I will let the pictures speak for themselves.
