Anyone going to Oct 1st Proformance Lapping Day at PR?

I will be there... I know Brian (senna) and Rob (buzzed hornet) might...

Sadly the forecast is not great for Oct 1st but they could be wrong

PJ, no more bird hunting, on track.

BTW, I'm not sure if I told you or not, but I caught a grouse or quail (what ever has the little feather that droops forward on its head) on track at Spokane. about 130mph on the front straight. Luckily (for me) the bird didn't fly up, it hit my car about the only place a lotus can take a hit and not break!! Bird was vaporized.

I don't even have a knick on my car.

I was just out there for the 2 day proformamce comp school and I was looking for the crow carcus in the bleachers... he must have lived... or died somewhere else!

Not a smart crow touching down in the exit of T9 as I was entering T9... he made a valiant effort to get airborn in a hurry but not valiant enough... he got punted gt3 style...

better a crow and a grouse/pheasant than a DEER!

 

LOL. I recall being with my grandfather back in the day when a pheasant (North Dakota, the things are everywhere) didn't make it higher than the radiator of his Cadillac.

after installing an LSD,doing the brakes and ordering new set of tires(overnight) i've called PROFORMANCE TRYING TO SCHEDULE lapping day they a having on wednesday oct. 1st....weather is going to be nice(and they have spaces left)
well...don called me back..and basically said that i need to go and do school again($600), before i can drive in lapping session again-poke-
i did one in 2000...:shrug:..maybe i forgot how to drive since than..and since i drive only viper, nsx, lotus and some smaller insignificant turbo cars every day...just because some a$$..le did crash his corvette lately i feel like they try to take advantage off me...and squiz more $$$$ from another rich guy...-poke-
well...F..K you...performance ...just another stuck-up smart a$$..
there is plenty of tracks around..just little further to drive..
BTW i remember instructors trying to show off in there 700hp race car when i was lapping in 2000...and spinning in the corner...LOL..
